This third annual 12 hour hike-up/ski-down endurance race challenges skiers, snow boarders and snowshoers to hike a run called Rebel and then ski, board, hike or otherwise slide down the always exciting run Beaujolais. Racers are competing to complete the most laps in a 12-hour period. There are several different ways to compete in this race. Competitors may be part of a duo, 4-person, 5-person or unlimited person team. Competitors may also race solo. There will be live music, drink specials, sponsor giveaways and an award ceremony after the race.

Sunlight Mountain Resort has announced that they are extending the ski season for one more weekend. The local ski area plans to close during the week of April 4th and then to reopen for April 9th and 10th. Sunlight has received over 18 feet of snow this season and is reporting a 70 inch base.
