  • Visit with Doc Holliday & Kid Curry. Talented portrayalists bring our famous former residents to life. Bring a camera & get your picture taken with “Doc” and “The Kid”. They’ll be hanging around their old digs somewhere in downtown Glenwood Springs between the Hotel Colorado, pedestrian bridge, 7th Street walkway, Grand Avenue and Centennial Park (Most Saturdays 4:30p.m.-5:30p.m.in June, July, August and early September)
  • Strawberry Days Festival - Colorado’s oldest civic celebration takes place at Sayre (Strawberry) Park. Highlights include the crowning of Miss Strawberry Days, top-notch entertainment, a myriad of artisans and food booths, a Kidsfest with a petting zoo, rides and quality children’s entertainment and of course, free strawberries and ice cream.   • 4th of July Downtown Fanfare - The Glenwood Downtown Partnership will host a fashion show in honor of Glenwood's 125th birthday. You can enjoy lunch specials and coupons at downtown restaurants, sidewalk sales and ongoing entertainment throughout the day in downtown Glenwood Springs (July 4th, 2010)
  • 125th Birthday Community Picnic - at Two Rivers Park, enjoy a free patriotic concert by Symphony in the Valley, a Percussion Ensemble and music by the Rock Dogs. The whole family can play old-fashioned games like wheelbarrow races, potato sack races & three-legged races. Later that evening, celebrate the 4th of July with a fireworks display. You can purchase a meal that includes a hamburger or hotdog, baked beans, chips, fruit & cupcake, all for only $1.25. Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. (July 4th, 2010)
  • Watch FREE movies on the outdoor big screen at Friday Night Flicks (August 6, 13, 20 & 27)
  • Music on the Mountain Concert Series - Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park will host another Music on the Mountain Concert Series this fall. Guests will be able to enjoy live music on top of Iron Mountain for free with a canned food donation for LIFT-UP. This is a great opportunity for the community to join together to have fun and help stock up the Glenwood Springs food pantry at the same time! (August 21 & 28 and September 11, 18 & 25, 2010)
