Colorado Marriage License Laws
•Apply for a Marriage License about 1 month ahead of time, but not too early because it is only valid for 30 days after it has been authorized
•You will need to send in birth certificates, tax information and some other documents
•You need proof of identification
•You will need 2 witnesses
•You will need an official to solemnize your wedding, i.e. a justice of peace, clergy man or you can solemnize your own wedding by filling out more paperwork
•A blood test is not needed
•There is a small fee
