As soon as the first greens of spring are ready to be picked, our farmers’ market vendors appear. Every Tuesday from late spring through early fall, you can stop by the Downtown Market at 9th Street and Grand Avenue to peruse the offerings that range from farm fresh produce, to locally made bread, honey and wine. Crafts, music, flowers and cooking demonstrations create a festival atmosphere on a weekly basis. On Saturday mornings stop by the farmers’ market in front Rite Aid where local growers congregate to sell in-season fruits and vegetables.
