18 Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of its first public cave tour and you’re invited to Party Like It’s 1999 with premier Prince tribute band Paizley Park, from 7 – 9 p.m. Wear purple for a free kids purple ICEE or a “Purple Rain” adult beverage at the Lookout Grille.
24 – 25 Cooper Wine & Spirits is proud to host Connie Baker, Owner & Head Distiller at Marble Distillery for a special weekend tasting. Come join us and taste her fantastic spirits and cocktails! Friday & Saturday 5-7 PM
24 – 25 The courtyard at the Hotel Colorado opens for summer dining and entertainment. Enjoy live music and drinks at this kickoff event.
31 – Fridays on 7th: Join us every Friday evening from 4pm-5:30pm for complimentary live music at Bethel Plaza (7th Street and Grand Avenue). Kick-off your weekend with local artists, life sized games and even some business specials.
JUNE Events in Glenwood Springs
See Hanging Lake like you’ve never seen it. A new permit and shuttle bus system enhance the serenity and beauty of this bucket list Colorado hike.
7-9 Celebrating the classic British roadster, the MG Car Club Rallye will convene in Glenwood Springs for the 67th consecutive year. See the oldest continually-held time-speed-distance rally in the United States! View the cars and speak to owners at the show and shine that takes place in Two Rivers Park on June 9, from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
11 – Stroll through Glenwood’s Downtown Market on Tuesday nights at Centennial Park for a weekly summer event that features locally-grown produce, live music, artisans, cooking demonstrations, fresh flowers and baked goods. 4 – 8 p.m, running through September 17.
14 Glenwood Vaudeville Revue is Glenwood’s go-to for comedy, music and theater. Catch the all-new summer show on weekends through Oct. 13. 970-945-9699
15 Music on the Mountain series kicks off at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. Featured entertainment includes the Missing Link Band and Dance of the Sacred Fire. Visit the website for the Park’s entire summer event calendar.
18 – Sunset Sounds at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort lets you soak it all in —live music and geothermal goodness. Every Tuesday night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. through August 13th local talent performs on the pool deck. The resort will also be hosting a very special show on July 4th!
21 – Take the new Glenwood Gondola to Friday Afternoon Club at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, featuring live music and food and drink specials from 5 to 8:30 p.m. For a free Gondola ride, look for the coupon that appears in the Post Independent on Fridays. One coupon is valid for up to four people starting at 4 p.m., running through July 19.
21-23 Strawberry Days is Glenwood Springs’ biggest bash of the year! Join in the fun: hometown parade, free strawberries and ice cream, fine arts and crafts fair, food court, live music and an adult beverage garden.
26 – Bring a blanket and listen to bands from around the country at the annual Summer of Music, every Wednesday night at the bandshell in Two Rivers Park. Local talent warms up the crowd starting at 6:30 p.m., with headliners taking the stage at 7:30 p.m., running through July 31.
JULY Events in Glenwood Springs
July is a perfect month to cool off on the river and explore Glenwood’s ample fishing opportunities. Fishing outfitters can inform you about what’s hatching, point you to local fishing holes or take you on a full-day fishing excursion.
4 Celebrate the Red, White and Blue with the City of Glenwood Springs. Events take place at Two Rivers Park beginning at 5 p.m. with family-friendly activities and crafts, music and a laser light show!

5 2019 FireKracker 4K: This family-friendly event features caps for the first 100 registrants as well as prizes and snacks at the finish. Look for the band shell in Two Rivers Park for race day registration and start line. Event details and schedule Packet pick up begins at 7:00 a.m. Registration for walk-ins closes at 8:00 a.m. and the race begins 8:30 a.m.sharp! Parking is available at the west entrance to Two Rivers Park, 740 Deveraux Road.
